The Shar Pei Effect - Less wrinkles in photos
In the dog world, wrinkles are seen as cute and cuddly.
But in this dog-eat-dog world, humans seeks an edge in business and in beauty.
So celebrities and glamour queens quite often try to avoid showing wrinkles at all costs.
However, anyone can actually create or worsen facial wrinkles in photos by placing too much pressure on the cheeks with their hands. This can leave us looking just as wrinkly— but not nearly so cute —as a Shar Pei.
What is more, these wrinkles can even alter our facial expressions.
By only applying slight pressure with our hands, however, we simulate a gentle touch to the face.
